I know you’ve had a lot on your plate recently. In case no one has told you yet, that’s okay. It’s okay to be so busy you spend less time on others, and it’s okay to focus on yourself, and it’s okay if you’re just now figuring it out. You’re growing. You’re changing.
I know how easy it is to forget to take care of yourself when you’re busy. Did you remember to eat today? Did you have time to work out or do something for yourself? Maybe not.
I want to remind you just like you need to take care of your body to stay healthy, to feed your soul with the remembrance of God. Reading His words and praying and little things, like remembering to say “bismillah” before you eat is how you keep in touch.
I hope you’re not feeling lost, but in case you are, evaluate what you’re doing or what you’re not doing.
So, if you forgot today, here is your reminder that your prayer is not a burden, but a gift from God made to relieve you of your burdens. Use it. Here is your reminder to say Alhamdulillah if you haven’t already. If you have, say it again. Take today a step at a time. You’ve got this.
