Orland Park Prayer Center

The Prayer Center of Orland Park

Every year we ask our community to join us for one night to celebrate our establishments and plan for our future. This year it will be Saturday, November 12, and our theme is all about our Future, our Youth.

Our annual dinner is the time and place where supporters of our community come together to socialize with good friends, meet new ones, enjoy a rich program, good food, and indeed, show their generosity to support programs that will reflect wellness on their families and children.

This fundraising dinner is a major source of our financial support that brings more than 30% of revenue to our yearly budget. We are grateful to Allah (ﷻ) and to our community for every single donation they pledge in large or small amounts. Generosity is a characteristic of believers, Allah (ﷻ) said: {And out of what We have provided them, they spend.} 2:3.

Maintaining the Masjed in its services is a very honorable achievement in Islam. Allah (ﷻ) said: {The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give Zakah and do not fear except Allah for it is expected that those will be of the [rightly] guided.} 9:18. The reason is that nothing is more honorable than keeping the place available for services that call for worshiping the One and only God, Allah (ﷻ).
