Story Night
Ages: 6-8 years
Time: Wednesdays, 6-8 pm
Location: Lower Level Quran Academy
Story Night is among the newer programs geared towards the youngest of the youth. The youth leaders voiced the need for a program that reaches children at an earlier age, and the idea for Story Night was born. The purpose is to encourage brotherhood and sisterhood among the youth and to instill a love of the masjid and masjid-related activities from an early age. Story Night began with seven volunteers and 35 attendees in July of 2015. It grew to 25 volunteers and 120 attendees in less than a year!
Story Night creates awareness of Islam in the hearts of young Muslims, ages 6-8 years old. By utilizing stories of the Prophets (AS), parables, crafts, activities, and Hadith-based character development, the beautiful message of Islam is communicated in a fun and interactive environment. Children learn the beauty of Islam through prayer, stories, crafts, skits, games and more!
Story Night is a FREE drop-in program that takes place every WEDNESDAY from 6-8pm. Children must arrive with a parent/guardian. A short registration form is required and provided on site in order to sign in your child. Children must be picked up and signed out by parent/guardian.
