تین جگہوں کا اکثر دورہ کرنا ضروری ہے
اسلام میں ہسپتالوں، جیلوں اور قبرستانوں کا دورہ دنیا کی عارضی نوعیت اور آخرت کی تیاری کی ضرورت کی گہری یاد دہانی کا کام کرتا ہے۔ ان دوروں سے عاجزی، ہمدردی، شکرگزاری اور اللہ کا شعور پیدا کرنے کی ترغیب دی جاتی ہے۔ ذیل میں ہر قسم کے دورے کی اہمیت اور قرآن و سنت کے حوالہ جات ہیں:
ہسپتالوں کا دورہ صحت کے لیے همدردی، همدردی اور شکر گزاری کی حوصلہ افزائی کرتا ہے۔ بیماروں کے لیے دعا (دعا) کرنے اور رشتہ داری اور برادری کے رشتوں کو مضبوط کرنے کے موقع کے طور پر کام کرتا ہے۔ اور ہسپتالوں کا دورہ کرنے کی ایک اہم وجہ یہ ہے کہ یہ آپ کو یاد دلاتا ہے کہ آپ کی صحت کتنی ضروری ہے اور اگر آپ کی صحت اچھی ہے تو آپ کی زندگی نہیں ہے۔
اللہ فرماتا ہے:
’’اور ہم نے تم میں سے بعض کو بعض کے لیے آزمائش کے لیے مقرر کیا ہے، کیا تم صبر کرو گے؟ اور تمہارا رب ہر چیز کو دیکھنے والا ہے۔ (سورۃ الفرقان:20)
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا:
’’جب تم کسی بیمار کی عیادت کرو تو اس سے کہو کہ وہ تمہارے لیے دعا کرے، کیونکہ بیمار کی دعا فرشتوں کی طرح ہے۔‘‘ (ابن ماجہ، حدیث 1441)
ایک اور حدیث میں ہے:
’’بھوکوں کو کھانا کھلاؤ، بیماروں کی عیادت کرو اور قیدیوں کو آزاد کرو۔‘‘ بخاری، حدیث 5649
قیدیوں سے ملاقات سماجی انصاف کو تقویت دیتی ہے اور مظلوموں کی حمایت کی حوصلہ افزائی کرتی ہے۔ یہ اللہ سے معافی مانگنے اور مشکل میں پڑنے والوں کی مدد کے لیے ایک یاد دہانی کا کام کرتا ہے۔ اور جیلوں کا دورہ کرنے کی ایک اہم وجہ یہ ہے کہ یہ آپ کو یاد دلاتا ہے کہ آزادی آپ کی زندگی میں کتنی اہم ہے اور آپ اسے کیسے استعمال کر سکتے ہیں۔
اللہ عدل و انصاف کا حکم دیتا ہے:
بے شک اللہ تمہیں حکم دیتا ہے کہ امانتیں ان کے سپرد کرو اور جب لوگوں کے درمیان فیصلہ کرو تو عدل سے فیصلہ کرو۔ النساء: 58
آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا۔
قیدیوں کو آزاد کرو، بھوکوں کو کھانا کھلاؤ اور بیماروں کی عیادت کرو۔ بخاری، حدیث 3046
قبرستانوں کا دورہ مسلمانوں کو موت کی ناگزیریت اور زندگی کی عارضی نوعیت کی یاد دلاتا ہے اور آخرت کی تیاری اور دنیاوی خواہشات سے لاتعلقی کی ترغیب دیتا ہے۔ اور یہ بھی یاد دلاتا ہے کہ یہ دنیا ابدی کے مقابلے میں کتنی بے معنی ہے۔
اللہ فرماتا ہے:
“ہر ذی روح کو موت کا ذائقہ چکھنا ہے۔ اور تمہیں تمہارا پورا پورا بدلہ قیامت کے دن ہی دیا جائے گا۔‘‘ سورہ آل عمران: 185
آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا۔
قبروں کی زیارت کرو کیونکہ وہ تمہیں موت کی یاد دلاتی ہیں۔ مسلم، حدیث 976
وہ میت کے لیے یہ دعا بھی کیا کرتے تھے:
“سلام ہو تم پر اے قبروں کے رہنے والو۔ اللہ ہمیں اور آپ کو معاف کرے۔ تم ہم سے سبقت لے گئے اور ہم تمہاری پیروی کر رہے ہیں۔” مسلم، حدیث 975
خلاصہ
ہسپتال: شکرگزاری سکھائیں اور صحت اور تندرستی کے لیے دعا کی ترغیب دیں۔
جیل: پسماندہ افراد کے لیے انصاف اور ہمدردی کی اہمیت اور آزادی کی اہمیت کو اجاگر کریں۔
قبرستان: عاجزی اور آخرت کا خیال پیدا کریں۔
ہر عمل ہمدردی، انصاف اور جوابدہی کی بنیادی اسلامی اقدار کے ساتھ مطابقت رکھتا ہے، جو ایک متوازن اور ذہن ساز زندگی کو فروغ دیتا ہے۔

Three Places Must Be Visited Often
In Islam, visiting hospitals, prisons, and graveyards serves as a profound reminder of the temporary nature of this world and the need to prepare for the Hereafter. These visits are encouraged to cultivate humility, empathy, gratitude, and consciousness of Allah. Below are the significance and references from the Quran and Sunnah for each type of visit:
- Visiting Hospitals encourages compassion, empathy, and gratitude for health. Serves as an opportunity to make dua (supplication) for the sick and strengthen ties of kinship and community. And one of the main reasons for visiting hospitals is that it reminds you how important your health is and if you are in good health you have no life.
Allah says:
“And We have appointed some of you as a trial for others: will you have patience? And your Lord is Ever All-Seer (of everything).” (Surah Al-Furqan: 20)
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“When you visit a sick person, ask him to pray for you, for the prayer of a sick person is like that of the angels.” (Ibn Majah, Hadith 1441)
Another hadith states:
“Feed the hungry, visit the sick, and free the captives.” (Bukhari, Hadith 5649)
- Visiting Prisoners Reinforces social justice and encourages the support of the oppressed. It Serves as a reminder to seek Allah’s forgiveness and to aid those in hardship. And one of the main reasons for visiting Prisons is that it reminds you of how important freedom is in your life and how you can utilize it.
Allah commands kindness and justice:
“Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice…” (Surah An-Nisa: 58)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“Free the captives, feed the hungry, and visit the sick.” (Bukhari, Hadith 3046)
- Visiting Graveyards reminds Muslims of the inevitability of death and the transient nature of life and encourages preparation for the Hereafter and detachment from worldly desires. And also reminds us how meaningless this world is as compared to the eternal ones.
Allah says:
“Every soul will taste death. And you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection…” (Surah Aal-e-Imran: 185)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“Visit the graves, for they remind you of death.” (Muslim, Hadith 976)
He also used to make dua for the deceased:
“Peace be upon you, O inhabitants of the graves. May Allah forgive us and you. You have preceded us, and we are following you.” (Muslim, Hadith 975)
