Orland Park Prayer Center

The Prayer Center of Orland Park

The truth is, there is no way of breaking away from it.

Or at least you think there isn’t. You believe it will haunt you forever.

The shame that it brings down upon you.

I want you to know it is okay. No one blames you for what happened.

You may blame yourself. Yet, why do you blame yourself?

Who are you to believe that what had taken place was your fault?

I understand that life can be overwhelming, but why allow the drainage of life to consume your well-being?

Is it because we believe there is no source or sense of control?

When I say this, I mean it as a source of my own knowledge.

We are all victims who carry heavy baggage of some kind.

Piles and piles of little knick-knacks we do not wish to possess.

We are all sinners.

Yes, you are not misreading that. We are all sinners.

Read that twice.“By Him in whose hand is my soul, if you did not sin, Allah would replace you with people who would sin and they would seek forgiveness from Allah and He would forgive them.”

I catch myself not biting my own tongue about individuals. When really, who am I to talk?

Think about what makes us different from that one individual or those multiple individuals?

We are not God.

No, we are God’s creations and only He shall be the One to judge us.

When you truly know yourself as an individual you start to realize that no one’s opinion in life truly matters.

What happens in your life is between you and God only.
