Don’t be afraid… we’re in this together.
No matter what, all of us forever
As you get older, it’s harder to keep a smile on your face
It’s because life becomes a test you can’t ace
People will hurt, disappoint, and leave you broken
You’ll soon learn that life, is a precious token
But it’s not precious in the sense it is delicate or sentimental
I mean it in the sense that your body is a rental
You may not see it now, but your time is soon
Life will become dark, like the other side of the moon
Your soul will release and your body will decay
The rest of your life will be held in a grave
That is, of course, until the hour comes
That’s off topic, let’s go back to where we began
We are in this together
Not our deaths, but the trials of this world
We have to push through, no matter how hard they’re hurled.
We are losing our brothers and sisters due to hate crimes
These are surprising but they are signs of the times!
People are dying, and it seems there’s nothing we can do
People are dying, and it’s leaving us to feel blue
We’re scared, anxious, and weary inside
But we have to stay strong, like waves in a tide
We are an ocean, a body of siblings, there’s a bond between us all
Together we will rise and never again fall
Don’t lose yourself from these hardships you see
Don’t lose your life, heart, and most importantly the deen
When you’re feeling alone don’t let shaitaan win
Because my sibling, this is how your trials begin.
We are in this together
No matter the weather
We are in this together
From now, until forever.
