You say you’ll go for it

You’ll do anything to score for it

It is you or is there more to it?

Cause if there is, we need to make sense of it

Every time it gets harder, things grow heavy

But nobody said that life was smooth and steady

You have to get out there, take a chance

Remember you have a voice, you have a stance

Take it and make it into something good

Mama would be proud

But we need to make our voices loud

Stand up, fight for injustice, take the chance and move up from this

It’s harder to be a leader as followers create injustice

Take the chance to be the outlier

That doesn’t mean fight fire with fire

It’s harder to take a risk than be comfortable

Here we are growing and making matters humble

As we exist, we exist to make matters better

Oh God help me become a go-getter

Hope is something we need but action is something that is mandatory

Let’s help each other and make this more than just a story
